How can I save hours at the dealership?
It's simple. Nearly all the information you need to make the right car buying decision can be provided before you ever set foot in a dealership. Most dealerships don't like to give up this much information, as they believe they can get you to pay more under pressure in person. Just make sure you call to schedule an appointment, as not having an appointment greatly increases wait times!  The only thing you need to do when you arrive at EchoPark® is test drive the car, get your trade-in validated with the information you provided ahead of time and sign the paperwork. In most cases this takes about 45-90 minutes.
How can I be assured the numbers won't change once I get to EchoPark®?
One of the things we hate the most about the car buying process is that often the price and terms you are quoted before you come in are not what you see when you arrive. We have removed that frustration. The terms we quote you are exactly what you will see when you arrive as long as all the information you provide is accurate and verifiable at time of purchase. Our Experience Guides will work with you diligently to make sure we get this information verified before you come in.

How can you assure me I won't feel pressured to buy something I'm not sure about?
We understand you are more dependent on your vehicle than ever before and in many cases it is one of your largest purchases. So the last thing you need to worry about is being pressured to buy something you will regret. This is why any terms and figures we quote are good for 30 days as long as the vehicle is still in stock. So whether you buy today, tomorrow, or next month - you are given the freedom to make your decision on your terms and not have to worry about missing out on a great price. Finally, you avoid the dreaded finance closing room, where you get presented with multiple payment options and a bunch of aftermarket add-on products. You know all the facts and figures before you come in, so you never enter a finance office. The paperwork is prepared in advance and you sign right there in the showroom.

How does your trade-in process work?
You can complete a request for a trade-in estimate on our website or just ask your Experience Guide for a valuation estimate. Your Experience Guide will then contact you to collect thorough details of your vehicle including its mechanical and cosmetic condition. This can be done over the phone and takes about 15 minutes. By collecting really detailed information we are able to give you an accurate estimate of your vehicle's value. We guarantee to give you our best possible trade-in value upfront. If you like the estimated value, all you need to do is bring your vehicle in for our appraiser to test-drive and verify its condition. This can be done at your convenience. The final value of your vehicle should not vary from our estimate so long as the condition matches the description you provided over the phone.

Are there financial benefits to trading my vehicle in on my purchase with EchoPark®?
Yes. If you register your vehicle in Texas, you get what amounts to a 6.25% tax credit when you trade your vehicle with the dealer you buy from - because you only pay sales tax on the difference between the sales price and the trade-in value. 
In the state of Colorado, you also get the sales tax savings as long as you are on the registration/title for the vehicle you are trading in and/or are not trading in a lease.  The sales tax credit ranges from 2.9% - 9.25% depending on where you register your vehicle in Colorado, as sales tax varies by location.
Also, be aware that some dealers will say they are giving your more for your trade and then mark up something else, such as the car price or interest rate, in order to make up the difference. There is no "shell game" with EchoPark®. We provide our best trade-in offer along with a competitive interest rate and price before you even come to the dealership.

How does EchoPark® determine what my trade is worth?
At EchoPark®, we understand that an important part of the car buying process is getting you the best value on your trade.
During our simple appraisal process, we'll walk you through step-by-step as we inspect your car.  Because we are part of a retail network (backed by Sonic Automotive - over 100 dealerships strong), we can utilize our nationwide database to appraise your vehicle across all of our locations, where pre-owned vehicles are in great demand.  Our appraisal is good for 14 days or 500 miles, whichever comes first*.  So when you hand over the keys, you'll be confident knowing you got best price.
*Vehicle must be in substantially the same condition as when it was originally inspected.

Do I have to trade my vehicle?
No. We only offer this as a service to you. If you feel you can obtain a higher value by selling it on your own to another dealer or consumer, we encourage you to explore those options. Our goal is to make it as effortless as possible for you to get the best deal on the purchase and financing for the vehicle you desire. You would just lose the tax credit savings by not trading your vehicle in with us.

What is EchoPark's 7-Day Guarantee?
We want all of our owners to be happy owners, that's why all of our cars come with a 7-Day Money Back Guarantee. If you change your mind about your vehicle purchase within 7 days or 250 miles (whichever comes first), return the vehicle to EchoPark in the same condition for a refund of the purchase price.

Will I get a full refund if I return a vehicle during the 7 days?
Yes! If you don't love your car within 7 days or 250 miles (whichever comes first), get a full refund minus any applicable shipping fees. Just return the vehicle to the EchoPark where you picked it up, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. If the 7th day is a Saturday or Sunday, then you must return it the next business day that the dealership is open for business.

Please note: If your financing included negative equity from your trade-in, you can either repay the negative equity or finance it with a different vehicle, subject to financing approval.

How does EchoPark's return policy work?
If you don't love your car within 7 days or 250 miles (whichever comes first), return the vehicle to EchoPark in the same condition for a refund of the purchase price.

We can accept a return that meets the following conditions:
  1. You return the car to the EchoPark where you picked it up, Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
  2. If the 7th day is a Saturday or Sunday, then you must return it the next business day that the dealership is open for business
  3. The car has been driven 250 miles or less
  4. You return the car in the same condition it was in at the time of purchase
  5. You have not previously returned any other car purchased from EchoPark
We cannot accept a return if the car has been:
  1. In a collision or otherwise damaged
  2. Tires or other parts of the vehicle have been replaced
  3. The vehicle was used off-road or for commercial purposes
  4. The vehicle purchased from EchoPark has been pledged as security for a loan, also known as an encumbrance (other than EchoPark's retail installment sales contract)
If the car meets the above conditions, we will accept the return within the 7 days and process your refund.

Please note: If the financing for the car you bought included negative equity from your trade-in vehicle, you must repay to EchoPark the full amount EchoPark paid on your behalf on any loan balance related to the trade-in vehicle (principal, interest and lender fees and charges), with payment either by credit card or certified or bank check, or by financing this balance with a different car, subject to financing approval. Any fee you paid to have the car you bought transferred to a different EchoPark location is not refundable. EchoPark will not return any car you traded in or sold to EchoPark.

How long does it take to get my refund after I process my return?
The refund of your vehicle purchase price following return is typically mailed or electronically delivered to your bank account within 2 weeks following your return date.

Will I get my trade-in back if I return my car within the 7 day return policy?
EchoPark will not return a trade-in after the initial purchase is complete. If your financing included negative equity from your trade-in, you can either repay the negative equity or finance it with a different vehicle, subject to financing approval.

How much does it cost to return a car to EchoPark?
There is no fee to return or exchange a vehicle if it's within 7 consecutive calendar days or 250 miles (whichever comes first).

Our vehicles must meet the following strict criteria:

  •         Eligible for 5 year/75,000 mile extended service plan
  •         Able to be priced 20-40% less than when the vehicle was brand new

Are all vehicles on the website available for sale?
Yes! Every vehicle on the website is available for sale. We only add vehicles to the website once they have completed our 190 point inspection process and are ready to be sold. Although we remove sold vehicles from the website several times a day, it is still recommended that you contact one of our Experience Guides via chat, email or call us to confirm availability for test drive.

What work does EchoPark® perform on vehicles prior to sale?
Every one of our vehicles goes through a rigorous 190-point inspection before they are sold. Our technicians fix any issues uncovered in the inspection as well as perform any needed maintenance. In addition, every vehicle undergoes a thorough cleaning and detailing to ensure that they are in top condition given the vehicle's age and mileage. You can also ask your Experience Guide for details of the work we have completed on your specific vehicle.

Do EchoPark® vehicles come with a warranty?
We back up our 190-point inspection with a 30-day/1,000 mile (whichever comes first) limited powertrain warranty on every vehicle.  In addition, most of our vehicles are still covered under the original manufacturer's warranty. Some vehicles even come with a full maintenance plan. You can also purchase an extended service contract to provide an additional 5 years and 75,000 miles worth of coverage on every EchoPark® vehicle. 

How Does EchoPark® handle vehicle recalls?

Occasionally the manufacturer of a vehicle may issue a recall to address a safety concern with a specific model that wasn't identified during the manufacturing process. Recalls are issued once a pervasive issue is identified but oftentimes prior to a remedy being developed. In all cases the recall repair can only be performed at an authorized dealer representing the specific brand. Although we're not authorized by the manufacturers to perform recall repairs we do have the ability to identify if one exists on a vehicle you're considering purchasing. In every instance we will check the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration's web-site and provide you with a copy of any outstanding recalls that may apply to your vehicle. Once a remedy is available the repair can be performed at any franchised dealership at no cost to you.

Can I find out what's on my credit report?
Yes. There are three credit-reporting agencies (Experian, Equifax and Trans Union). You have the right to obtain a free report from each one once per year OR if you have recently been turned down for credit. You can get your reports and learn more here: www.annualcreditreport.com.
