Worst company ever. They don’t take your calls, sales reps are not interested in you as they don’t work for commission. They don’t accept outside loans and will give you loan at a way higher interest rate than you can get out in the market. There low pricing is a trap!!

Great buying experience. A little concerned on the changes coming down that I've heard rumored among the staff. We'll see if they will uphold to Echo Park's current business model or not. Based on my business upbringing, I feel it will be slightly-increased profits at the great expense of customer buying experience and overall satisfaction, which will negatively impact future sales through fewer referrals.

This was our first time at Echo Park. I must say that this was one of the best experiences in buying a car I have ever experienced. I already knew what car I wanted. I saw the car advertised on CarGurus, so I called Echo Park to make sure the car was available and setup an appointment to see it. Our salesman Martin Johnston was amazing. Needless to say, we purchased the car after the test drive. Overall, the prices are amazing, no stressful haggling, the warranties are generous for the price and they offer more than fair price for your trade. I highly recommend Martin Johnston as he goes above and beyond to provide the best customer service.

Buying our second vehicle in 6 weeks. They have a great selection of cars, trucks and SUVs. Most importantly you don't have to haggle over the price with some poor salesman and his sleazy finance manager. Because of their business model they offer more competitive pricing than CarMax and other used car dealers (we checked). Both times we have worked with Martin Johnston who is both knowledgeable and very low pressure. If you're shopping for a late model low mileage used car then you need to check this place out.

The price was great and the people are friendly. Other than that this experience was and still is frustrating at best. You’ll never talk to the same person once. The only work with their banks unless you’re paying cash. The rates for these are not nearly as good as your local bank. Be extremely careful as they sell you extras and warranties without warning. Cancelling this is extraordinarily time consuming and truthfully unfortunate.

I am giving the EchoPark San Antonio off 151 five stars! My Sales Rep, Lomas, was so amazing and everything was very smooth and fast. When I got there I knew what kind of vehicle I was looking for and they had a few options since I am so picky and I was about to leave when they looked in the system and saw there was a Honda Pilot not on the lot. They found it waiting to be serviced but let me see it anyway and I fell in love. The prices there are incredible! I just couldn't let it go. While they were fixing the minor issue Lomas contacted me with updates and we even started the process for financing. By the time the SUV was ready I walked in already ready to drive her away! My husband noticed right away that some covers were missing (completely cosmetic) and while I was already signing the as-is agreement they could have said.... "oh well it's on you now" but NO they ordered the two pieces and put them on quickly with no issues. I am so happy with my overall experience and I know when I am ready to shop again I will check here first. I will also be recommending this place to my friends and colleagues, for sure!

I went to the EcoPark in San Antonio off 151 and they were amazing. They didn't pressure me to buy and when I found my dream car there, but it wasn't ready yet they moved fast to get the car ready and the communication was great! There was also a part missing from the vehicle (cosmetic) and they ordered the part and replaced without hesitating even though I had already signed the as-is contract! My Sales Rep, Lomas was so awesome. I will so check there first the next time I am in the market and I will recommend them to my friends as well!

Excellent is the only word that comes to mind when we think about our purchase here. Everyone, and I mean everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. This place is ridicules, their service is horrible, they lie about everything and God forbid you let them run a credit to buy their car, I'm still getting letters from banks. They apparently run your credit thru a dozen banks. And the monthly payment is 2-3 times more than what they advertised. HORRIBLE

Here’s the thing about this dealership and if you know this going in you will probably do well and be happy. 1st, they sell low mileage cars in good condition for several thousands less than normal dealerships. Catch is you have to use their financing which is approx. 2-3% above market. In most cases the cash discount way supersedes the inflated APR. 2nd, they will try to sell you their warranty and coating protection plan. If your car still has dealer warrant left, you should pass on this and decide what warranty you want before the manufacturer warranty runs out. 3. If you have good credit, once you get registration, you can refinance your car at local credit union and get best of both worlds. My experience was pleasant and while persistent they were not high pressure. Happy with my 2015 BMW 435i with 21k miles at 6k below anywhere else I could find a comparable equivalent.

Finance manager spoke to us very disrespectfully after running credit report. He had this conversation with us in the lobby without permission in front of clients and staff where he did not try to keep his voice down. He talked at my co-applicant disrespectfully as if we shouldn’t be attempting to purchase a better vehicle for myself. He shamed us in even trying to do this and we have never encountered someone who spoke so poorly.

Compared to the typical used car dealer a much better experience. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice facility with comfortable waiting areas, espresso coffee machine etc. Straight forward process without car sales games. Test drive without sales person if you have proof of insurance. As mentioned in other reviews they make it clear up front that you have to finance through their partner banks, but of course you can always refinance with another institution later if a better rate is available. Naomi was very friendly and helpful as a sales consultant. One area to improve is to speed up the process a bit after the decision to buy: paperwork, financing, etc. We'll definitely return here when looking for next vehicle.

DONT BUY A CAR UNTIL ALL DEFECTS HAVE BEEN REPAIRED! I purchased a car less than a month ago. My experience while buying the car and less than a month after purchasing has been less than satisfactory. When I went to look and buy the car, the car had 800 more miles on the odometer than advertised. When we addressed the manager about the large discrepancy, they didn’t have a good reason or understand why there was such a big discrepancy as well. None the less they refused to adjust the price for the mileage difference. There was damage on the driver rear view tint which they promised to redo. I have tried numerous times to schedule the repair and have been told each time they can’t reach their tint person?! Lastly, there is a large bubble in the driver side since day one that we didn’t catch during the inspection. It is extremely unsafe for me and my one year old since the tire can burst at high speeds, yet again, they refuse to acknowledge and replace. Their 30 day warranty is a joke. Customer service is at its worst. Buy your car somewhere dependable. Unless you’re a mechanic, It’s not worth the headache.

A great experience all-around. With stellar service from the sales staff (they are called experience guides) to help from the service department (a real big shout-out to Nuni Zapata for all his help)... My daughter is thrilled with the car that I just bought her. My wife will be out of her lease in April 2019 and we'll be back to see Echo Park West San Antonio then.

When we were attempting to close on a sale, we came across a small hiccup. We had to go home and get my driver's license and they were close to their closing hours. Our representative assured us he would wait. When we came back @ 9:03 PM, lights were off and he had gone home. My wife was extremely upset and discouraged since it was a Saturday and we had spend two days trying to decide and test cars. Long story short, Dylan happened to be walking up and when let him know the situation, he immediately jumped on in. Martin Johnston was so professional and helpful! The first car I saw online and wanted was sold! Because their deals are too amazing! That’s why people post negative reviews because they can’t get what they want. They can’t HOLD cars for people who say they’re going.... not everyone shows up and it’s basically whoever signs the deal first wins! I used to work at a dealership for a couple years. It’s highly competitive and you can’t expect the awesome deal to be waiting for you! But Martin showed us another car and it was incredible! One owner, super spotless, low miles, all service records, a 2013 but looks brand new! We are so happy! I noticed the same reviewers giving ONE stars for EchoPark are the exact same reviewers giving Another dealership all FIVE stars.... LOL!!! That’s super shady of those employees. All the employees really took care of every customer that came in right away. I was observing everything that went on. The employees here are so professional and kept asking if we were good. Getting the paperwork stuff done always takes a long time so we had time to run to get food and come back. The test drive was awesome, the car price was a couple thousand below Kelly Blue Book because they don’t overprice their inventory like other dealers do. I think other dealers feel threatened of EP. I hear how much they sell each day is crazy! You really need to come by and walk the lot. I drove all the way from the stone oak area of 281 North just for this great deal. Terrible service! when we were denied due to my husbands credit our sales rep Naomi was so demeaning that I didn’t even want to call my parents to co-sign and give her my business. This company really needs to hire a more empathetic sales person. This experienced was so awful and embarrassing.

This is unlike any other dealership! When first walking in, you are greeted by the manager who gives you a tour of the place complete with an awesome coffee/espresso machine, kids area that includes blocks and a gaming system. The salesman are not pushy, very kind and laid back. When trading in our cars they gave us the highest price possible. Higher than the Kelly Blue Book value! They have great prices on their cars, with a great selection. They kindly and quickly took care of paper work and stayed with us until 11 even though they are paid on salary. Paperwork was very easy and digital. I love my new car and could not find anything else anywhere for the great price I got. I highly recommend people buy their cars here. You won't regret it. They even offer free car washes for a year!

CarCash is so misleading, I showed up to purchase a vehicle online and was “greeted” by Naomi Rios, when I asked her about the vehicle that I wanted she said that it was sold the day before and when I asked her when they would get another one in stock she acted very rude and tried to push me into another vehicle and fill out a credit application. NO thanks I don’t need to deal with false advertising nor do I need to deal with rude pushy employees. Take your business elsewhere

Never go back there again! They do SPOT DELIVERY it's a SCAM!!!! You sign a contract & give them down payment & drive off with the car, days later they call you to bring the car back due to insufficient bank statements when they told you got approved! This happened to my husband and I today we had to go return a 2017 Mazda CX-5! They're scam and take your money when they tell you got approved and check your credit for nothing!!! Worst customer service!

Naomi Rios is the best sales person to go to when you are looking for an upgrade vehicle. She is dependable, very honest, up front, and does not rush or pressure you into anything during the process. My experience with naomi was an amazing one. She never once made me feel pressured nor did she make me feel as if I was alone. She constantly kept checking up on me asking if I had questions, if I was happy with the drive, and at one point she helped me make a decision i will always be thankful for. By that I mean because of her patients, kindness and smile. I was able to take my time and made a wise choice and got into a 2017 Elantra for $12,500 with only 26,000 miles on it. The worst experience ever!! Unprofessional . I bought a truck from them and had everything ready to sign with cashiers check on hand after driving truck and paper where sales guy gave me the total amount due after deposit I gave them just to find out they had the wrong truck/stock number and of course was $900 more. All they said we made a mistake and this is the difference. Don’t buy from these people.

THREE TIMES we have made appts to see cars but when we arrive the cars are actually gone. If you can actually see and buy a car it's probably good, but there are SERIOUS communications issues between the call center and the sales people.

Worst experience ever. Naomi Rios is so unprofessional and rude. so I found a great deal online for a vehicle and was so excited for my wife to finally get the car she deserved since we have been working so hard to rebuild her credit and we finally got our bank to preapprove us! when we got to the dealership we were assigned Naomi and she immediately looked at us like we were below her I guess due to our accents and how we dress and when we told her we were preapproved through our bank for a car she automatically said that carcash doesn’t accept outside financing and that we would need to apply through the partnered lenders and once we told her we didnt have good credit she said that we would need a large down payment and looked at us like we couldn’t make it happen and that’s when I told her that we would be taking our business elsewhere because of her rude tone and lack of empathy for our situation and when we walked away I heard her mutter a cus word about me so I decided to be the bigger person and walk away with my wife and we decided to leave this review. By far the worst sales person I’ve ever met. Red Mccombs atleast honored my outside financing so good news is we got a great deal and were treated the way we should by an awesome salesman named Dylan :)

Spent majority of 1 afternoon awaiting. Now I took my vehicle to get maintenance on window washer sprayer, now since they changed their name they are no longer honoring our warranty. They are using two names together in their business to smoke screen there honesty in honoring warranties for purchased vehicles. My question is which scamming individuals devised a scam and dishonest practice to the public trust?. And restore there practice on honoring warranties to veterans that purchased vehicles.

This place is sad. I make an appointment to check out a vehicle which I got a quote for the day before and it turns out they dont accept "outside financing"..? This could of easily been made clear before I wasted time and gas driving all the way there. If youre stupid and dont know what youre doing the better for them to screw your numbers up for ya. Absolute trash, dont waste your precious time or money.

I was looking for a car but don't have great credit at all. Tried to get financed through my bank and was denied 3 times. Came here and was approved without a co-signer. They got me in a 2014 Impala that I love!! Definitely gonna refer some friends.

Guest first customer service is what makes EchoPark a top notch company. They were efficient, lower than any other dealer in price, saved me time and gave me the best value for my trade in. From the front desk greeter, to the appraiser, the salesman and the document writer. Everyone was pleasant to work with. After signing in, while waiting for my appraisal, I was greeted by Martin Johnston. He politely asked if I was interested in a vehicle, I let him know what I saw on the internet and shortly after it was parked out front. We left for a test drive and his phone rang to notify us the appraisal had been complete and it was valued more than any other appraisal. It only took a total of 33 minutes from check in for my trade-in vehicle to be appraised. After our test drive, I informed them I was interested in their vehicle, but noticed it happened to be an hour before closing time. I asked if I should come back tomorrow. The team never hesitated, they offered to stay past closing. We stayed until the job was done. Thank you and keep doing what you are doing EchoPark, you are doing it right!

Ms.Rios did a great job taking care of my wife and helping her get set up with a used vehicle. We were there for four hours and she went the extra mile and ordered us food. Though you can't walk in expecting munchies, it's safe to say they are willing to go to work for their clients. My only complaint is the speed of the paperwork processing. Like I said: I was there for four hours. They would do well to hire a few additional underwriters to speed up the process. Overall we had a great experience.

Best place to buy or trade vehicles. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped out right away. And after I got the truck I wanted they washed and vacuumed it for me. Thanks Naomi Rios for everything. Great people and great service.

There is only 1 "document specialist" and it takes forever to get the paperwork done. The process is hindered by lack of qualified personnel. Furthermore, to sell/trade a vehicle in, corporate requires that you sign a blank statement of fact in case "something" is wrong with the title transfer. This opens the seller to a lot of risk because the company can mark this form saying the seller did not sell the car to them and then not pay the seller. Plus, when we got a quote previously, we were not given printout of the quote and got asked why we did not have it, as if it were our fault. Finally, the company changed its payment system to electronic after 24-48 hours and did not train their sales people about it, so we constantly had to correct them about their own policy.

They prefer mindless buyers who cant read, think or ask question. So I think the reason they get business is because the car prices are decent. When it comes to purchasing or selling a vehicle the legal language they use puts the individual at high risk while giving all legal power to the company. On top of that they explain some of the documents incorrectly. They refuse to exclude document that do not apply to your transaction and will not redacted certain statements or options which could allow the company the ability to cause the client significant financial or legal problems. They seemed to really like helping people who were financing a lot of money and signing everything without even looking at the documents.

Very unprofessional, I had an appointment to view & purchase a vehicle with cash in hand, drove 2hours just to be told it was sold shortly before I got there.

My son found a car on CarGuru from this dealership. He had to drive 3 1/2 hours to get there. A salesman from the dealership called him at 1:00 today to make sure he was still coming to look at the car. He told him yes, proceeded to drive to San Antonio, got there about 2 hours later and was told the car had been sold. After reading a couple of other reviews that happened within the past week, it seems to be a pattern. Their customer service is poor along with the salespeople that can't seem to get a clue on how to inform prospective buyers that someone else is looking at the car or even tell the other prospective buyer that someone else was coming to look at it and if it wasn't purchased they would call the other person back. Instead it was a waste of time and gas to come out there and get nothing but I'm sorry. They can take the I'm sorry and shove it where the sun don't shine. Just ridiculous. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! If I could give a 0 star rating I would.

Found a great car online and contacted the dealer right away Wednesday. Called and spoke with Beau, he emailed an application Thursday morning. Spam stopped it from getting to me, not their fault. Got home completed the application and called to inform. I was told I would hear something shortly. Nothing, I called again to get the status Friday morning, asked for Beau, was told he was at lunch and would call me back. This was 11am. Nothing from Beau, call again at 4pm, Beau answers the phone. He promises to email all management to get in contact with me. It's after 6pm when I call again to found out the car had been sold and Beau was gone for the day. This wouldn't be an issue had they not already run my credit. Got a manager Chelsea on the phone, she apologized. Wow, during the entire process, I initiated all but one call. Just bad business all together. Also, several reviews with similar circumstances during the same few days are posted on other sites. Makes me wonder if it was too good to be true.

My wife and I decided on a car we wanted to purchase. There was a slight problem with the molding on the windshield. Our saleswoman said she would request service to have that repaired but that they wouldn’t be able to look at it until the next day. We said that’s fine and went forward with filling out all of the loan paperwork and got approval and financing. We called the next day to check on the vehicle to see if it had been fixed and she said she wasn’t sure but to come in the following day to complete the purchase. She said she would be out of the office but to call her when we were on our way and she would have another salesman ready to help us. My wife called her twice, leaving a voicemail and got no response. She then texted and got no response. So we just went in and we were told they had sold the vehicle THAT MORNING. They completely sold it out from under us! We were in the purchase process and financing and they completely sold it out from under us. We spoke with a manager after waiting about an hour. He apologized and said he wanted to show us other cars. Well the one we wanted was an excellent deal with low mileage and hard to match. But we told him there were two other comparable vehicles we would consider if he lowered the price about $1500. Even if he had lowered the price, we still would be paying thousands more than the car we were originally purchasing. He passed us off to another salesman, (about 2 hours after we arrived) and told the salesman we would like them to work with us on price since they’d seriously screwed up and sold the car out from under us. He said they had set pricing and wouldn’t budge. I asked him if he was aware of what had happened to us and he said yes, he was. So I asked him to work on the price to which he said he “couldn’t budge. Not even a dollar.” I find it hard to believe that a car company can’t budge on the price of a car after making a SERIOUS error. I find that to be extremely bad customer service. We explained we had just moved to San Antonio with the military and my car broke down. We needed an immediate replacement. We shopped extensively and decided upon their vehicle and went through financing and went to pick it up and they sold it out from underneath us. Now we are back to square one and this experience was a huge disaster and unless they reach out to us and make things right, I HIGHLY recommend you stay FAR AWAY from people who choose to do business this way.

The representative Alicia Banks was great to work with no pressure in buying a vehicle and explained the entire process thoroughly. I ended up trading my vehicle because I was offered a good deal. I highly recommend Echo Park when searching for a pre owned vehicle.

I originally went to Echopark- San Antonio to look at a car I had seen online. Upon arriving, I was immediately shown the vehicle. They even washed it off real quick before pulling it up for me to view. This dealership specializes in used, quality vehicles. The prices are all reasonable and the lowest I found compared to other dealerships in the area. More often than not, the prices listed matched closely to what the suggested price on Carfax listed. Sometimes lower! The inside of the dealership is outstaning. There's a free beverage station, lounge area, wifi, kid area (with video games), and an awesome car buying bar that allows you to use an Ipad to filter and search for vehicles on the lot! It was the easiest search engine I've ever used at a dealership. When you find a vehicle you're interested in, they drive it up to the front. No walking through parking lots! Echoparks website closely resembles the ipad service used in-house. The personnel are very friendly. I worked with Dylan and Mark. They were both very professional and met my needs. They answer questions honestly whether it's good or bad. They are not pushy salesmen and are haggle-free. They work off of salary and non commission, which is not common in the dealership business. The entire process of buying a car was enjoyable. Dylan even called me a personally let me know that a car I was interested in was bought by another party instead of letting me be disappointed and finding out on my own. He even contacted me after my purchase to congratulate me and to let me know he enjoyed working with me. I truly appreciate that type of customer service. They are working for you at Echopark, not for themselves. If you purchase a car at Echopark you also get free car washes! Since I was driving a rental car, they even offered to coordinate rental pickup with enterprise and to wash my rental car for me. They truly go above and beyond here. I will always recommend this place to my friends and family because I know they will receive high-quality customer service that you can trust.
